PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

The award-winning Cheesemakers Special Cheese is produced by the same person who brought you the exceptional Lord London cheese, Arthur Alsop of Alsop & Walker.

The Cheesemakers Special is a semi-hard cheese with a lovely caramel undertone and a beautiful delicate crunch from the calcium crystals. Yes, crystals in semi-hard cheese! They are always normally associated with hard cheese! As usual, Arthur Alsop has put his unique stamp onto this cheese and this outstanding cheese won a silver medal in the World Cheese Awards 2023. Our CEO says this is the best cheese he has ever tasted in his life.

Produced using milk from four different cow breeds – Swiss Brown, Jersey, Norwegian Red and Holstein, this delicious cheese matured for a minimum of 10 months. This cheese will grace your cheeseboard with notes of creamy caramel and a slight crunch from the crystals formed during the maturing process.
