Aglianico, the great noble variety of Campania and Basilicata, combines here with Cabernet Sauvignon, to produce a velvety summer pudding of a wine, with gorgeous cassis and black raspberry fruit, a little saddle leather, and wild Mediterranean scrub.
About the producer: Oronzo Alò set up on his own in 2003, after gaining knowledge and experience through his years revolutionising winemaking as director at two co-operatives in the Monte Vulture area.
