  1. Step 4 Top each pancake stack with a generous knob of Bungay cultured butter, crispy bacon and a drizzle of maple syrup.

  1. Step 11 Top with crispy duck, a spoon of warm marmalade and a light pinch of five - spice.

  1. Step 12 Finish with sliced spring onions and serve.

  1. Step 13 Serving tip: A little five - spice goes a long way - keep it subtle.

For Dark Chocolate & Marmalade with Shortbread Crumb & Blueberries Topping

  1. Step 15 Gently melt the dark chocolate bar in a heatproof bowl set over simmering water.

  1. Step 16 Warm the pancakes and stack onto plates.

  1. Step 17 Spoon over the melted chocolate, scatter with crumbled shortbread and finish with fresh blueberries.
