PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Add a touch of authenticity to your home cooking with exceptional Crispy Aromatic Half Duck from DukesHill.  The crispy aromatic duck is slow-cooked for 14 hours in a water bath with star anise and pink peppercorns to retain all of the natural moisture, resulting in exceptionally tender meat that cooks at home in just minutes! 

Our crispy aromatic duck is ready to heat in the oven for succulent meat and crispy skin. Delicious when paired with hoisin sauce and perfect for serving with pancakes, cucumber and dipping sauce for a traditional Chinese dish.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

1) Pre-heat oven in readiness to gas mark 5 or 190C, 375F level (oven type dependent). 2) Carefully cut open individual bag, remove from sous vide bag, discarding all fat & juices. 3) Carefully place the duck, skin side upwards, onto a pre heated tray ideally nonstick or lined with baking parchment paper (optional). 4) Place into pre-heated hot oven cook for 30/35 mins (approx.) gas mark 5 or 190C, 375F (oven type dependent). If the skin is not sufficiently crispy over the entire duck, turn the oven up for final 10 minutes, to gas mark 6 or 200C, 400F (oven type dependent). 5) Alternatively, if starting to brown too much, too quickly, cover with baking foil to avoid burning. 6) Remove from oven, keep warm for 5 minutes to avoid burning your hands.
