Cooking Instructions
All appliances vary. This is a guide only. Pre-heat oven to 190°C / 375°F / Gas Mark 5. Carefully open the bag, separate the duck and orange slices from the juices. Remove all hardened duck fat. Empty remaining orange sauce into small pan. Carefully place the duck skin side up (with or without orange slices) onto a pre-heated tray lined with foil. Cook in a centre of a pre-heated oven for 30-35 minutes. If the skin is not sufficiently crispy over the entire duck, turn the oven up (200°C / 400°F/ Gas Mark 6) for final 10 minutes of cooking. Alternatively, if starting to brown too quickly, cover with baking foil to avoid burning. Bring the sauce to simmer during final 5 minutes of oven cook, reduce to thicken and season to taste. Baste over the duck during reheat if required or serve seperately with roast duck. Remove duck from oven, rest for 5-6 minutes.
