Cooking Instructions
Pre-heat oven to 190°C / 375°F / Gas Mark 5. Carefully cut open bag, remove both lamb shanks from the bag, retain all contents. Carefully place the lamb shanks onto a pre-heated deep sided dish. Pour over all remaining sause and herb inclusions. Cook in the center of the pre-heated oven for 25-30 minutes, basting the lamb shanks with the sauce occasionally. If the outer skin is not suffciently golden, increase the temperature to 200°C / 400°F / Gas Mark 6 for last 10 minutes of cooking. Alternatively, if starting to brown too quickly, over with foil to avoid burning. Remove from oven, keep warm for 5-6 minutes. Optional: If required, add remaining juices to pan, add additional stock or wine, bring to simmer and reduce, season to taste.
