Product Description

Each British ham hock is lightly cured and slow-cooked for twelve hours to create tender, fall-apart meat with rich savoury depth. Supplied in packs of two, they’re a comforting festive favourite - perfect served hot with creamy mash and parsley sauce, or cold with pickles and bread for Boxing Day platters.

Prepared using traditional methods, each hock is gently cured before being cooked low and slow to enhance its natural character and deliver a melt-in-the-mouth texture. This long cooking process produces soft, succulent meat that falls easily from the bone, making it simple to serve with minimal effort.

Generous yet rustic, each hock serves two or provides a hearty meal for one. Whether enjoyed as part of a traditional hot supper or sliced cold for a festive spread, these ham hocks are simple, deeply satisfying and full of traditional flavour.

Why you’ll love it:
– Slow-cooked for 12 hours for tender, juicy texture
– Generous portions; each hock serves up to two
– Traditional British preparation using lightly cured pork
– Fully cooked and ready to heat or enjoy cold
– Great value and full of flavour

Pairs with:
– Creamy mashed potatoes and parsley sauce
Proper Piccalilli or Sweet Cucumber Pickle
– Crusty bread and cold cider

Cooking Instructions
The boiled hocks are already cooked so can be served either hot or cold. To eat them hot, we recommend pre-heating the oven to 200°C /180°C fan/ gas mark 6. Place the hocks in a roasting dish and cook uncovered for 40 mins; this will crisp up the skin nicely. If you prefer to steam the hocks, add a small amount of liquid-stock, water, cider to the roasting dish and cover, place in a pre-heated oven at 200°C /180°C fan/ gas mark 6.
