PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This traditionally dry cured boneless York ham is crafted from British pork and matured for bold flavour and firm texture. Slightly saltier than Wiltshire ham, it’s perfect for thin slicing and brings true British heritage to your table.

Offering the same depth of flavour and succulence as the bone-in version, this boneless York ham is simply easier to carve. Prepared using centuries-old methods, it represents the pinnacle of traditional British pork curing.

Each leg is hand-selected and cured with sea salt and a touch of saltpetre, then matured in cool curing rooms for several weeks. The result is a firm, sliceable texture and a richly savoury character, distinctive of a proper York ham.

Despite old legends, York hams were never smoked over wood from York Minster’s ruins—nor are they smoked at all. The hallmark of an authentic York ham is its bold, unsmoked flavour, which makes it a royal favourite and proud holder of a Royal Warrant.

Fully cooked and ready to enjoy, this ham is best served sliced thinly—ideal with pickles, salad or buttery bread. It also makes a fine centrepiece with a breadcrumb crust or glaze of your choice.
