This traditionally dry cured Boneless York Ham is a festive favourite, crafted from British pork and matured for weeks to deliver bold flavour and a satisfyingly firm texture. Slightly saltier than Wiltshire ham, it’s fully cooked, easy to carve, and perfect for Christmas buffets, Boxing Day spreads and celebratory feasts.

Prepared using centuries-old methods, each leg is hand-selected and cured with sea salt and a touch of saltpetre, before being slowly matured in cool curing rooms. The result is a richly savoury ham with a dense, sliceable texture and a character that sets it apart as a true heritage classic.

Unlike popular legend suggests, York hams were never smoked over wood from York Minster’s ruins nor are they smoked at all. The hallmark of an authentic York ham is its bold, unsmoked character, which has made it a royal favourite and a proud holder of a Royal Warrant.

Offering the same depth of flavour and succulence as the bone-in version, this boneless ham is simply easier to carve. Serve it sliced thin with pickles, salad or fresh bread, or present it as a festive centrepiece finished with a golden breadcrumb crust or glaze of your choice.
