Product Description

Inspired by the Umbrian speciality, our British Porchetta Roasting Joint brings together traditional Italian flavours and exceptional British pork. Made using succulent pork middle combining both loin and belly this joint offers the perfect balance of tender meat and rich, buttery flavour. We lightly cure the pork before rolling it with a fragrant blend of thyme, fennel, garlic, lemon zest, black pepper, and seasoning.

As it roasts, the marbled belly gently bastes the loin from within, locking in flavour and keeping the joint irresistibly juicy. The result is an easy-to-carve centrepiece with rich, herby depth, crisp crackling, and melt-in-the-mouth tenderness. Serve hot with roast potatoes or slice cold for remarkable sandwiches the next day.

Each joint is hand-prepared and tied by our skilled butcher, delivered fresh and ready to roast or freeze. A superb alternative to traditional roast pork or turkey, this Porchetta makes for a memorable Sunday lunch or festive main course with minimal effort.

Why You’ll Love It:

  • Authentic flavour: Inspired by traditional Italian Porchetta with a fragrant herb blend
  • Made with pork middle: A combination of loin and belly for exceptional flavour and succulence
  • Expertly butchered: Rolled and tied by hand for perfect roasting
  • Moist and tender: Natural fat from the belly bastes the meat during cooking
  • Versatile: Perfect served hot with sides or cold in crusty rolls

Cooking Instructions
For best results we recommend removing the joint from the vacuum packaging, patting it dry with kitchen towel and leaving it uncovered on a plate in the fridge overnight. This ensures the skin dries out and gives you the best chance of crisp and golden crackling. Remove from the fridge 2 hours before cooking. Pre-heat the oven to 200°C / Fan 180°C / Gas mark 6 and massage salt into the skin, lightly brush with oil and place the joint in a roasting tray. Weigh the joint. Roast in the oven for 25mins per 500g, plus 25mins. Remove the joint from the tray, allow to rest on a warm plate for 20 minutes.
