Cooking Instructions
Leave steak at room temperature for 20 minutes before cooking. To Shallow Fry: Rub or brush the steak with a little oil and season with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. Heat a heavy based frying pan over a high heat for 2-3 minutes until hot. Place steak in the dry pan and cook over a high heat for 30 seconds each side. Reduce heat to medium and continue to cook for a further 30 seconds - 1 minute each side (rare), 1 minute 30 seconds - 2 minutes each side (medium), 2 minutes 30 seconds - 3 minutes 30 seconds each side (well done). Allow steak to rest for 3 minutes before serving. These instructions are given as a guideline only as steak thickness will vary slightly.
