A true festive showpiece, our Whole Bone-In Shropshire Black Ham is bold, savoury and steeped in British heritage. Dry cured, marinated in molasses, juniper and spices, and naturally matured, it boasts a signature black rind, a rich depth of flavour and is fully cooked for effortless carving at Christmas celebrations.

Inspired by the original Bradenham recipe of 1781, this exceptional ham celebrates centuries of curing tradition. Each joint is dry cured and steeped for two weeks in a dark, aromatic marinade of molasses, juniper berries and warming spices, developing its distinctive flavour and hallmark black rind.

The hams are then matured for several months, producing a robust, complex character and satisfyingly firm texture. The bone remains in to enrich the flavour further and create dramatic presentation at the table, making this ham a striking centrepiece for festive feasting.

Fully cooked and ready to enjoy, our Shropshire Black Ham is perfect served hot for Christmas dinner, carved cold for Boxing Day buffets, or sliced thin for refined sandwiches and charcuterie boards.
