All appliances vary. This is a guide only. Pre-heat oven to 190°C / 375°F / Gas Mark 5. Carefully cut open the bag, remove chicken, retain all fat, herbs and juices for sauce use. Place the chicken onto a pre-heated oven tray lined with foil. Cook in the centre of a pre-heated oven for 35-40 minutes. If the skin is not suffciently crispy over the entire chicken, turn the oven up (200°C / 400°F/ Gas Mark 6) for final 10 minutes of cooking. Alternatively, if starting to brown too quickly, cover with baking foil to avoid burning. Remove from oven and rest for 5-6 minutes before serving. Optional: If required, add remaining juices to pan, add additional stock or wine, breing to simmer and reduce, thicken, season to taste.
