PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Our Half Bone-In York Ham is traditionally dry cured using time-honoured British methods, made from outdoor-bred pork and matured over several months for a firm texture and rich, salty flavour. Fully cooked and ready to enjoy in thin slices, it’s a true festive classic for Christmas buffets and celebratory spreads.

Each leg is carefully selected from outdoor-bred British pigs, then dressed with a touch of saltpetre and covered with coarse salt. Over several weeks, this process is repeated before the hams are hung to mature in dedicated drying rooms, where they develop their distinctive depth of flavour and firm, savoury texture - the very qualities that earned York ham its original Royal Warrant.

Firmer and saltier than Wiltshire ham, York ham is best enjoyed sliced very thin. Perfect for sandwiches, festive cold platters, or as a centrepiece for Christmas entertaining, this heritage ham remains a proud staple of traditional English charcuterie.
