Ex Oppido Red Horizon Shiraz from Constantia Uitsig is a bold, characterful South African red that captures the intensity of the Cape’s terroir. Made from hand-harvested Shiraz grapes, it offers depth, spice and remarkable balance, showcasing the elegance of one of Constantia’s most historic estates.
Deep crimson in the glass, it reveals aromas of blackberry, plum and cracked black pepper, lifted by hints of violets and spice. The palate is rich yet refined, with ripe dark fruits, smoky notes and supple tannins leading to a long, satisfying finish. Complex and versatile, it is both powerful and polished, with excellent ageing potential.
