PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
One of our oldest British puddings Lemon Posset deserves a revival. In medieval times Posset was a milky drink with alcohol or citrus added which resulted in the milk curdling and thickening.
Over the centuries posset became more of a dessert with the addition of ground almonds, egg yolks etc. Ours is simply made with cream, sugar and lemon and is pure lemony heaven. Delicious on its own or served with a square of our melt in the mouth shortbread on the side.
