Creamy Diced Wiltshire Ham With Tagliatelle & Garden Peas

Step 1 Bring a pan of water to boil and cook the tagliatelle following the packet instructions.

Step 2 While the pasta is cooking, add a splash of oil to another pan and add the butter. Heat until foaming on medium to low heat.

Step 3 Add half a pack of DukesHill diced Wiltshire ham to the pan and allow to gently cook out for 2 minutes.

Step 4 Add chopped spring onions and allow to soften for 2 minutes.

Step 5 Add the double cream and bring to a simmer, then add the cheese, a splash of pasta water, and continue to simmer for 2 minutes.

Step 6 Season with salt & black pepper and add in the garden peas. Note: don’t add too much salt as there is some in the ham and cheese already!

Step 7 Add a generous pinch of parsley and chives and mix in your tagliatelle.

Step 8 Garnish with herbs and cheese to your liking.
Recipe Note
Top tip: for added flavour, try adding a splash of white wine after the spring onions and a squeeze of lemon juice to serve.
