A bold and pungent washed-rind cheese from Oxfordshire, Oxford Isis offers a rich, gooey texture and complex depth of flavour. Washed in honey mead, it delivers a tangy kick and full-bodied indulgence for lovers of robust artisan cheeses.
Named after the Oxford stretch of the River Thames, this British soft cheese is crafted with pasteurised cow’s milk and matured to develop a sticky orange rind and melt-in-the-middle centre. The honey mead wash adds sweet, floral notes to its bold, savoury base, resulting in a cheese often compared to the French Époisses – but with unmistakable British character.
